How to calibrate profibus transmitter

In this short video, Mike shows how to automatically calibrate a Profibus PA pressure transmitter using Beamex MC6 calibrator and the Beamex POC6 pressure controller. By using the documenting mode in MC6, we can enable a fully automatic calibration.

Beamex MC6 is an advanced, high-accuracy field calibrator and communicator. It offers calibration capabilities for pressure, temperature and various electrical signals. The MC6 also contains a full fieldbus communicator for HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus and Profibus PA instruments.

The Beamex POC6 is an accurate and user-friendly automatic pressure output controller, providing regulated output from vacuum to 70 bar (1015 psi).
