Service Returns

Instructions for arranging your service return

Service return instructions

  1. Fill in the details about the unit(s) you are about to send in through the Service Portal. You will receive a confirmation immediately by email. Beamex or their partner will contact you with a quote (repair and/or recalibration) or RMA (Service Plan), depending on the type of your request.
  2. Follow the packaging instructions below and dispatch the unit.
    • UPS is Beamex’s partner for pick-ups and deliveries.
    • Once the order has been confirmed by Beamex or their partner you will receive UPS shipping labels if such has been agreed.

Packaging instructions

  1. If returning an MC6, MC5, MC4 or MC2 family calibrator, we recommend downloading and removing all saved calibration results from the calibrator’s memory (Beamex recommends using a calibration management software to permanently store the calibration results).
  2. Remove all fluids from devices and carefully clean off any contaminants before shipping. If the device still might have residues, this must have been stated when sending in the request via the Service Portal.
  3. In case of repair, please include hose sets, communication cables and charger with the device. In this way, Beamex Service can perform thorough and systematic testing for the calibration system as a whole (leak testing, communication problems, etc.).
  4. Please remove all unnecessary accessories (connectors, tools, etc.) to prevent damage in transport and to reduce CO2 emissions/transportation costs.
  5. To prevent damage during transportation, please pack the device in its own hard transport case, or in an appropriate rigid carton with suitable padding. Several devices can be sent together in one box if they are appropriately protected to prevent damage during transportation. NOTE! The MC6-T units under a service plan must be returned in 8129900 Transport case for MC6-T and packed according to instructions. Also FB, MB and POC8 units under a Care Plan must be returned in their respective transport cases (9400475 for FB, 9400980 for MB and 9891950 for POC8 units).
  6. If you are reusing a carton box or shipping in a transport case, make sure that all the old labels and stickers are removed.
  7. Include the RMA or Order acknowledgment in the packages. It has been sent to your email by Beamex or their partner after you sent in your request via the Service Portal.
  8. Attach the Beamex Return Label to the package. It has been sent to your email by Beamex or their partner after you sent in your request via the Service Portal.
  9. If you are using UPS, also attach the UPS Return Labels to the package.

Pickup or drop-off with UPS (when labels are received from Beamex)

You have 4 alternatives for UPS package pickup or drop-off:

  1. You already have a daily pickup scheduled, just hand over the package.
  2. Call for pickup, the phone number is printed on the label.
  3. Use one of the closest UPS access points for drop-off.  Addresses to the 3 closest ones are printed on the label (Depending on your location there might not be any access points nearby).
  4. Go to www.ups.com and under the shipping menu choose to schedule a pick-up.
