Beamex CMX 2.18 – Uncertainty calculations in the field with MC6 calibrators

Home » Videos » Beamex CMX 2.18 – Uncertainty calculations in the field with MC6 calibrators

Calibration uncertainty is an essential part of every calibration. Without understanding the uncertainty of the calibration setup, it is difficult to know how much confidence you can place in the results. A technician may complete a calibration in the field, only to discover later that the selected reference equipment was not accurate enough.

MC6 family firmware 5.30 can calculate and display expanded uncertainty during calibration when this is configured in CMX. The calibrator uses its own specifications and shows the resulting uncertainty directly on the documenting calibrator. This video shows how it works in practice.
