“The best thing about my job is working with people from all over the world, overcoming challenges and working with software. With a background as an operation engineer, and an education in automation engineering, I have been working as a Calibration Solution Engineer at Beamex since 2016. I’m involved in various projects, supporting customers from all over the world with software upgrades, problem solving and CMX deployments as well as helping customers develop a better way to calibrate. Problem solving, diverse tasks and happy customers are some reasons why I enjoy my work at Beamex.

One challenge I remember was when I visited a site in Shanghai. I was working on a software deployment for a company. Since the MC6 calibrators language was set to Chinese, it was a bit difficult to train the technicians on how to use them. However, with some help from the technicians and a translation application, I could leave Shanghai with the knowledge that we had another happy customer.

Due to Beamex being an international company, I have the opportunity to meet and work with people from all over the world, learning about languages and culture at the same time. I travel 4-6 times a year, from Asia to Europe to North America. If you are interested in working in an international environment, Beamex is the company for you.”
