An intuitive and powerful, multi-platform mobile, paperless solution for executing and documenting process instrument calibrations, maintenance-related inspections and weighing instrument calibrations.
Many process industry plants are still using pen and paper to document their calibrations and inspections, which is an inefficient process that often leads to errors in calibration documents.
Beamex bMobile 2 is a mobile application for executing and documenting calibrations and inspection activities in the field, without using paper. bMobile 2 works in conjunction with Beamex CMX calibration management software.
The bMobile application works offline, complementing the online Beamex CMX calibration management software because, in a process plant, you don’t always have a reliable network connection.
The bMobile application supports Beamex’s “Mobile Security Plus” technology, a solution to ensure the integrity of calibration data throughout the calibration process.
The bMobile application works alongside Beamex CMX calibration management software. Use CMX software to plan and schedule all your calibration and inspection activities. When you are ready to perform the calibrations or inspections, send the work orders wirelessly from CMX to the mobile device running the bMobile application. Once you are in the plant, ready to calibrate/inspect, the bMobile app will guide them through each activity, step by step. The results will automatically store with traceable information. Once you return to the office, you can upload the results wirelessly to the CMX software. The results are automatically stored in the database, where reports may be printed and scheduling is updated.
Use Beamex CMX software to plan and schedule calibrations.
Send the work orders to a mobile device with the bMobile application.
Use the Beamex bMobile application to execute and document the calibrations of your various process instruments.
You can use CMX to document the calibration of your weighing instruments, or you can send the work orders to a mobile device with bMobile application and use that (offline) to guide and document the calibrations of weighing instruments. CMX and bMobile include all the different test needed for weighing instrument calibration, such as eccentricity tests, repeatability tests, weighing tests and minimum capability weighing tests.
The functionality is based on standards from NIST: Handbook 44 – 2007 (with USP 41 updates).
