A pressure calibrator is an instrument used to verify and calibrate pressure-measuring devices, such as pressure gauges, transmitters, and sensors. It provides precise and accurate pressure references for calibration purposes. Pressure calibrators offer various functionalities, including generating and measuring pressure, as well as adjusting calibration parameters. Some advanced pressure calibrators also feature loop supply and electrical measurements for transmitter output evaluation.
A pressure calibrator plays a vital role in ensuring that pressure instruments are accurately calibrated, which, in turn, enables reliable pressure measurements in the process industry. By utilizing a pressure calibrator, technicians can verify and calibrate pressure instruments, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to industry standards.
Beamex MC6 as a pressure calibrator
The MC6 can measure gauge, vacuum and absolute pressure. It can be equipped with up to four internal high-accuracy pressure modules, and it can also be used with external pressure modules that are compatible with all Beamex MC calibrators. Low pressure modules are equipped with built-in relief valves for over pressure protection. Use the MC6 together with Beamex ePG electric pressure pump or other supported pressure controllers for fully automatic pressure calibrations. The MC6 can communicate with Beamex calibration management software for digital flow of calibration data.
Beamex MC6-Ex as a pressure calibrator
The MC6-Ex is an intrinsically safe calibrator that can be provided with up to three internal high-accuracy pressure modules and it can also be used with external pressure modules.
Low pressure modules are provided with built-in relief valves for over pressure protection. MC6-Ex can measure gauge, vacuum and absolute pressure and can communicate with Beamex ePG electric pressure pump, or selected pressure controllers, for automatic pressure calibration. The MC6-Ex can communicate with Beamex calibration management software for digital flow of calibration data.
Beamex EXT external pressure modules
The Beamex EXT External Pressure Modules are compatible with all Beamex MC calibrators. Various high-accuracy pressure modules for ranges up to 1000 bar are available. Low pressure modules are equipped with built-in relief valves for over pressure protection.
Beamex ePG electric pressure pump
The Beamex ePG is a portable, battery-operated electric pressure pump for industrial pressure calibration applications in ranges from -0.85 bar (-12.3 psi) up to 20 bar (300 psi). It provides a really easy way to generate pressure or vacuum. The ePG can communicate with Beamex MC6 family calibrators for automatic pressure calibrations.
Beamex POC8 pressure controller
The POC8 is an automatic pressure controller making pressure calibrations efficient and easy to perform.
A variety of pressure ranges are available from vacuum up to 210 bar (3045 psi).
You can use the POC8 as a stand-alone pressure controller or as part of the Beamex calibration solution. With the panel mounting kit, the POC8 can be installed in the Beamex CENTRICAL calibration bench for a professional workshop solution.
Beamex PG calibration pumps for pressure calibration
The PG calibration pumps are handy tools to generate pressure during calibration. There are different models for different pressure ranges, from low to high pressure.
Beamex MC6-WS for pressure calibration
The MC6-WS panel-mounted calibrator can be installed in Beamex CENTRiCAL NA calibration bench for workshop calibration solutions. The MC6-WS can measure gauge, vacuum and absolute pressure. It can be equipped with up to 10 panel-mounted high-accuracy pressure modules, connected to the calibrator. In addition, it can be also used with external pressure modules. Use the MC6-WS together with a Beamex ePG electric pressure pump or other supported pressure controllers for fully automatic pressure calibrations.
