Beamex North America Calibration Lab Achieves ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation, Strengthening Our Role as a Partner for Calibration Excellence

Beamex, a global partner for calibration excellence, announces that its North American Calibration Laboratory has achieved ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation. The laboratory is calibration laboratory No. K026 accredited by FINAS Finnish Accreditation Service, accreditation requirement SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17025.

Understanding Accreditation Traceability

FINAS (Finnish Accreditation Service) is Finland’s national accreditation body and a signatory of the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA). ILAC connects national accreditation bodies around the world, including A2LA (United States), UKAS (United Kingdom), and DAkkS (Germany), ensuring international recognition of calibration certificates issued under ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.

This milestone reinforces the Beamex’ mission of delivering calibration services that are accurate, traceable, and performed in accordance with globally recognized best practices. The accreditation applies to a wide range of calibration capabilities, including pressure and electrical signals, with deep specialization in Beamex devices.

Last year, the laboratory relocated to a new state-of-the-art North American Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. This accreditation marks another step in the Beamex journey to providing high-quality, dependable service for customers across North America.

“Achieving ISO 17025 accreditation is a significant step forward for our North American team and the customers we serve,” said Jan-Henrik Svensson, Beamex CEO. “This achievement affirms the high standards we maintain and strengthens customer confidence in the services we provide.”

More Value for Beamex Customers

With ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, Beamex customers benefit from:

  • Calibrations performed to internationally recognized standards
  • Fast, predictable turnaround times
  • Traceable, auditable documentation
  • Reduced compliance risk through services provided by a technically competent, independently evaluated laboratory

The accreditation also enhances the value of the Beamex Care Plan, a service and support program designed to protect your investment and ensure long-term accuracy. Beamex Care Plans offer annual calibrations along with free shipping, repairs, replacement of wearable parts, applicable updates of firmware and device description files, priority service, and more.

“Customers rely on Beamex to ensure the long-term reliability and compliance of their devices,” said Orlando Molina, Beamex North American Quality and Services Manager. “ISO 17025 accreditation enhances that trust, particularly in industries where calibration quality is mission-critical.”
