How to calibrate an analog temperature loop

Beamex / Videos / How to calibrate an analog temperature loop

In this short video, Roy shows how to calibrate a temperature measurement loop with analog transmitter, local display and DCS display using the Beamex MC6 calibrator and Beamex FB 150 temperature dry block.

The MC6 will allow him to complete a fully automatic calibration. It was previously loaded with information like instruments to be tested using Beamex CMX calibration management software. The MC6 also provides instructions on where to plug each lead. Finally, the MC6 allows you to take calibration results and upload them into the Beamex CMX calibration software, resulting in a fully automated and paperless calibration.

The FB Field Temperature Block is an ideal temperature block for industrial field use. It is lightweight and easy to carry. It is very fast while still providing excellent accuracy.

Beamex MC6 is an advanced, high-accuracy field calibrator and communicator. It offers calibration capabilities for pressure, temperature and various electrical signals. The MC6 also contains a full fieldbus communicator for HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus and Profibus PA instruments.
