Jonas Heinola: Sales Manager – e-Commerce

After graduating from university, I was very curious and wondering; What do I like? What am I good at? Then, in 2018, a relative sent me an ad about a job posting in the newspaper; Beamex where looking for “Beamex Business Professionals”. Beamex Business Professionals is a position where you work on different projects, where the sole purpose is learning, doing and finding what you would like to work with. To this day, I’m still amazed that I was granted this opportunity. In one year, I was able to experience what would have taken years by switching jobs.

I worked as the project manager for the Beamex Service Portal, the first E-commerce project at Beamex to significantly impact the way we interact with thousands of customers, which was an exciting and successful project. This project paved the way for me to continue working with E-commerce at Beamex. I now find myself as a sales manager for E-commerce, where I’m in charge of building and developing the Beamex webshop (shop.beamex.com) and the LOGiCAL in-app purchase process as well as a commercial manager for our cloud-software, LOGiCAL.

The best things about my job are my tasks and Beamex. My tasks are an adventure. They are fascinating, challenging and help me develop multiple skills. I like my work tasks and my job, but it wouldn’t be the same if I didn’t work at Beamex. I’m truly humble to be a part of Beamex and the Beamex family.
